 State Comptroller 1901 Reprint with Signed Transmittal to Acorn Club member

    This 62 page pamphlet, originally published in 1873, but there are no copies on the market of that first edition, and thus comes to us in the form of a 1901 reprint published by the State of Connecticut Comptroller's Office as a part of its Connecticut Constitutions Series. The Comptroller, Abiram Chamberlain,  in this case has signed a transmittal of the pamphlet to John Murphy of the Acorn Club of Connecticut, the Comptroller's third such transmittal so it may have been to an officer of the Acorn Club. A few of these pamphlets are available on the internet but this is the only one that appears to be personally transmitted by the public official responsible for its publication.
